Initially the idea was to leverage the social network Facebook and its reach to let people express their views on the presidential fight between Democratic and Republican candidates via the message board on Facebook. However, one can say that coming down to the ground reality one would be better off not talking about it.
Why ? That’s what you would think. Well actually, although the messages have been huge in number with close to 35,000 soundboard messages being out there the key problem is technical in nature. Problems like browser refreshing frequency, with about 1.75 million characters out there ! definitely a real problem.
The opinion from the majority of Facebookers is that Hillary Clinton is "onto Barack like a Rottweiler" one moment and "has about as much experience and common sense as an avacado [sic]" the next. Ron Paul is a "looney" to some, but "the only one who understands economics" and "the only logical and realistic choice," to others.
According to Facebook the entire project has been extremely successful ! The only thing that Facebook wants to solve is the problem of reading/sorting out the Archived ‘Soundboard messages’. Understandably, it is a big mess for all those users who want to scan through what has been said in the past
